Loving Life Lately

Life has been busy as ever lately but we have been having fun as we go. Mckay finished yet another tax season and we are happy to have him home more often. The kids always light up when they see Dad's car pull in the driveway. The day after tax season we spent a fun family day and went out to breakfast, the zoo, as well as some shopping.

Driving the Jeep. The kids waiting for a picture. Taylor on the go! Playing with sticks.

Then the weekend we spent with family as we celebrated Easter. The Easter Bunny left some goodies in our back yard Saturday. It was fun to see the kids getting so excited as they ran around the back yard looking for hidden treasures.Taylor playing with his loot.Payton on the look out! Nothing like a pregnancy picture right?! (But just to show that I was there... I'll put it on anyway) Kenzie relaxing in the sun and enjoying her treats.

On Sunday my brother spoke in church before leaving on his mission so we spent time with the family at a luncheon and then the little ones had another Easter Egg Hunt.Daniel will make a great missionary! Taylor was good at getting candy this year and loved finding the suckers. McKenzie was very selective on her candy choices and wouldn't just grab anything in sight but rather only the candy that she knew she liked.Payton was on the hunt for eggs with money in them and thought he was rich when his total count was $1.58.
Although he did manage to find some good candy as well.
Finally, today we went on a field trip to the FIRE STATION! The kids had a good time and before we got there Payton told me that "He had been waiting for this his WHOLE life"!It was hard to get a good picture of the three of them with all of the excitement. The preschool group (plus or minus a few). Taylor is loving/living in this BSU hoodie. I think it is partly due to the fact that Mckay makes such a big deal about it when he wears it. Taylor will actually shed tears if it is dirty and he can't find it! Kenzie playing at the park after the fire station, where our picnic was cut short because it was chilly outside. Payton climbing the rock wall.
Taylor having fun outdoors, I sure wish the weather would warm up a little more and we could play outside more often.

All Ready for Church

While getting ready for church today, Mckay was at a few earlier morning meetings and our church doesn't start until 1:00 PM, so I proceeded to give the kids a nice bath and some play time. I had some extra time on my hands so I took a little longer to do McKenzie's hair a little extra special. It was totally worth it because she was well pleased with the outcome and loved having her daddy comment on her curls!
Little Miss McKenzie-all ready to go to church.

She just seems to be growing up before my eyes and sometimes I just pause and look at her because she is not-so-little anymore, but still so pretty! The other day I was getting some of the baby girl clothes out and I was spying on Kenzie as she would pick up a tiny dress that she herself used to wear, hold it up to her body to see if there was still a chance it might fit, only to realize that it was indeed way too small. It was cute but at the same time it is unbelievable just how much she has grown.

Here is a close up

Of coarse the boys wanted pictures as well.

Handsome Payton loves to go to church.

Taylor completely loves nursery. He has been smiling like this a lot lately.

Happy little boy. We are noticing that his bumps seem to be shrinking (in fact you can hardly see them in these pictures) and others have been commenting on the same thing. It has been a little relieving and we are hoping that this success continues.

The week before General Conference I was released as the 2nd Counselor in the Primary. I will miss the sweet kids and watching even my own kiddos as they learn and participate in Primary. It was fun while it lasted and I will always love to hear the Primary children singing songs. I am however, excited for my new calling as the 2nd Counselor in the Young Womens. I look forward to getting to know these fun girls and working with the other leaders as well.

Sunday's are busy and at times a little crazy with the kids, but also a day of the week that I look forward to.

Cuddle Time

Taylor has been loving to cuddle lately, so it has been fun to spend some time being close to him before baby #4 arrives. He is the sweetest little boy and soaks up all of the attention (hope this doesn't mean that will have jealousy issues soon). The other day Taylor was snuggling with Daniel (my little brother) and after a while we noticed that he had actually fallen asleep. This rarely happens so we took advantage and got a cute picture of the two of them. Daniel just had knee surgery on another torn ACL- same leg only a couple of years later. He is healing fast and getting ready to leave on his mission to San Antonio, Texas on May 4th. Not much longer now, but he will me missed- I will cherish this picture while Daniel is away!

Dan looks like he is enjoying the snuggling just as much as Taylor.

Oh and Tax Season is nearing an end! It is gonna be great to have Mckay around more often!!
