Annual Youth Baseball Game at Giles

We have made this a bit of a tradition with the youth in our Ward.  This is a fun activity for the youth and they usually bring friends and make it a big party while we have some snacks and play a game of softball.  My kids usually tag along since most of us have to be there anyway.  (Taylor was already off at his Scout activity for the evening.

Kenzie 7th Grade Tennis (2019)

One of Kenzie's favorite sports is tennis.  She looks forward to practices, improving her skills, going to meets, and socializing with her friends.  This sport has it all in her opinion.

She is so fun to watch as her skills improve each year.

One thing this girl loves is some time to just be a kid and spend time with others that she loves.

Pep Band for Kenzie

This year we have a new band teacher.  McKenzie plays the flute and the JR. High is asked to play with the High School Pep Band at some of the games.  

Kenzie is the short cutie behind the stand in the middle of this picture.  I adore this little lady!  She is a busy little thing with church, tennis, piano, pep band, working hard to keep her grades up, and family time.  Somehow she balances it all!

My Little Errand Buddy-GAVIN

I love having a little sidekick while everyone else is at school and working.  Gavin is so easy to bring along and I will treasure this time I get to spend with him before he heads off to Kindergarten next year.  We run errands together and do preschool together.  He is definitely my little buddy!

While shopping we spotted these little mountain biking gloves and he pretty much loved them!   (It gave me a good idea for his birthday or Christmas coming up.)

When we run our errands, it usually collides with lunch time...this time I let Gavin pick where we were going to eat and he picked to go to McDonalds.  He enjoyed playing in the playhouse and even got a Happy Meal (I hardly ever buy those for the kids but it made Gavin's day).

Having a Blast at Copper City

With the return of school, we now have all sorts of schedules to keep.  Sometimes we take a break from it all and enjoy a much needed day as a family!  This weekend we took off and met up with family at Copper City to seize the day and bike as a family.

We have had so much fun biking and being out in nature this summer together.  It has been something the whole family has gotten into and stayed active while having fun.

Brielle's 1st Piano Lesson

Brielle has been so excited to begin taking piano lessons!!  Today was her first lesson as we get back into the swing of things and this was one thing Brielle couldn't wait for.

This is going to be a fun experience for Brielle as she gets to do something for herself at this time.  Carletta has been flexible working with both of my girls and our schedule.  I am excited to see how Brielle comes along in this talent!

Mckay's Birthday and a Fun Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun filled Labor Day weekend spent with family.  A lot of my family members were able to make it up to Montana this year because Jaxson Roos was being blessed that weekend.  We played hard and showed them parts of Montana during their nice weather stay.

Gavin crashed and fell asleep like this one evening...he must have been worn out by playing so hard.

Brielle had a blast and jumps at any opportunity to be in the great outdoors.

This Sunday we actually had church in Augusta for our annual meeting out there.  It also happened to be Mckay's birthday and we were looking forward to a day together to celebrate him as well.  I love this area and the beautiful scenic drive.  We decided to show my family around Gibson Dam and had a fun day in the mountains together after church. 

There are so many things I love about Montana, one of those is being able to spend more time doing things with this handsome fella.  Happy Birthday BABE!

Then we took the kids and hiked to the top of the dam.  It was fun to look around but I felt like I was constantly counting heads!

Later we headed home to have some birthday dessert (he always picks the same dessert...better than anything cake).

There are lots of candles to blow out!  Max's birthday was coming up too so we had a double celebration while family was still in town.

That is a pile of kiddos on the red 4-Wheeler I grew up on.  We used to load this thing up with all of us and head to the fields to work and irrigate.  Such fond memories, it is fun to see some of these grandkids all piled on it too!

My parents gave Gavin an early birthday present.  He was thrilled with his new Toy Story lunchbox and Brielle could have a picnic with him using her Nemo lunchbox.

My family all had to head back for school and work.  Mckay and I spend the morning on a date together, still celebrating Mckay's birthday.  It was fun going to the South Shore Trails in Great Falls together.  I love spending time with Mckay!

It was a great weekend spent with family.  I love my tribe!  We also had a great time making Mckay feel special for his birthday.  We are so lucky to have him and are ever so grateful for all the work he puts in to support our family.  We love you Mckay!
