Halloween 2017

Time for another night of dressing up and Trick-or-Treating!  The kids look forward to these traditions and it is fun to experience it with them.
Brielle was a cute kitten this year.
This is at a school carnival put on by other students.
Taylor was a cool ninja and Gavin chanced a couple of times but was Buzz Lightyear at the school.
Payton as Mario.
Kenzie was a witch.
Gavin was unsure about the guts of the pumpkin but had fun at the same time.
That face!
Pretty cute!
It is nice when the kids are older and do more of the pumpkin carving process on their own.
Kenzie, Brielle, and Payton all working on their pumpkins.
Brielle really enjoys these kinds of things.
Doing good!
They make a good team.
I love it!
Taylor was sure concentrating hard.
Love these hard workers.
Traditions make each holiday extra fun!
The 5 pumpkins all finished and unique!
The kids did a pretty good job!
Another fun thing the kids LOVE to do is to play hide and seek in the dark.  Gavin gets a kick out of this and here is where we found him hiding one evening.
Sometimes Gavin still can't help himself and ends up falling asleep after busy days.  I love this tender side of him.
Getting ready to Trick-or-Treat.  At least this year there isn't any snow!
Now Gavin is Spiderman (he is following in his siblings footsteps as he also loves dressing up).
Getting lots of candy.
Completing the night with a ride on the Bronco golf cart.

Pampering the Girls

One evening while the guys were watching yet another football game, us girls decided to go upstairs and get all pampered together!
Brielle has crimped hair for church the next day (win win) while Kenzie works on her nails.
I could tell the girls felt so special doing this together and sure felt beautiful!
Now Brielle is painting Kenzie's nails for the first time while I crimp Kenzie's hair.  Brielle did a great job and Kenzie was so impressed I think she will ask her to do them again!
My pretty girls!!

Scouts Go Repelling

Payton and Mckay recently went repelling with the Boy Scouts.  To be honest, Payton was not looking forward to it.  But he was a totally different kid when he returned home.  He even said to me, "I don't know why I didn't want to go!"  Ha Ha!  I have been repelling a few times and it is a lot of fun.  I was glad to hear all of the boys had a great time and now this is something Payton wants to do in the future.
Payton is in the blue on top preparing to practice on a little edge.
Looking good!
Ready for the difficult one now!
At the top of the big one.
Way to go bud!
I am proud of Payton for doing this.  Mckay even got to join in the fun and went down too.
Fun times!
I am thankful for good leaders that help to make these things happen.
It made for a great experience for Payton and Mckay!

Library Hayride

Gavin enjoys going to the library for story time and to socialize and do activities/enjoy snacks.  Today was a treat because he got to dress up as Spider Man and go on a hayride around Fairfield.
Gavin has been into characters lately and loves dressing and acting the part!
Having a good time together!
It was a fun ride with friends!

Our Fall Trip to Oregon/BSU Game

This year we planned a trip to visit family in the fall.  It was nice to be back in that area during the fall season.  Things were still green and leaves were still on the trees.  Harvest was in full swing and the weather was still mostly nice.
It was sure nice to reunite all of the cousins again
The Adrian Elementary was having a Halloween carnival and the kids were happy to dress up and go to the festivities. It was funny introducing my 5th grade teacher to my now 5th grade daughter!
Frosting sugar cookies with family was on our to do list.
The kids love to do this around Halloween!
Looks delicious Payton!
Taylor laying on the sugar.
Brielle's and McKenzie's finished cookies.
Gavin is ready to take a bite too!
Good times!
Another thing on our to do list was to go to the Meridian Temple open house.  It was opening day and we were excited to see inside this beautiful Temple!
Families are Forever!
Everyone in my entire family was able to be there and that was especially a treat!
It was a special day!
Families are such a blessing.
After finishing up at the temple we grabbed lunch.
The kids soaked in as much time with each other as possible.
Fun times.
We are getting to be a pretty large group.
We wouldn't have it any other way!
After lunch we went back to Cynthia and Dean's to chance our clothes.  These guys had some BLUE and ORANGE to get into for the big BSU game.  This is Taylor's first time attending a Boise State game and these guys were so excited (another perk of our visit in the fall).
Gavin was getting pretty tired since we were on the go constantly and he just crashed for a bit.
Braxton and Gavin squeezing in a little nap while the girls shopped at Erin's.
Then we met up with more of my family at Sherry's while others were at the football game.
These kids were great at going with the flow.
We were trying to keep them all together as much as possible before having to say our goodbyes.
Tucker kept referring to Gavin as his brother this trip.  It was hilarious and heartwarming!
Trying to get a picture of the 3 little boys proved to be a challenge.
These 3 were more cooperative.
Cute girls!
Sweet buddies!
Gavin was in heaven playing with my mom's large Buzz from when Daniel was young.
It was fun to see it being used again!
Meanwhile back on the BSU campus the guys were taking a sneak peak of the basketball players before the football game.
They felt right at home in the sea of orange and blue!
Going to meet some of the players.
Payton couldn't believe the size of some of their hands.
Looks like they are having a good time.
Now over to the stadium for some football, it was a rainy evening but that didn't slow down these guys.
A dream come true!
Fun experience for these Montana die hard BSU fans!
Priceless!
Mckay and Dean
Mark and Kaden
It was a trip jam packed with fun activities and family times.  It always going by so quickly and leaves us longing for our next get-togethers!
