Oliver and McKell's Wedding Day

We were happy to head back to Rexburg (our old stomping grounds) to celebrate Oliver and McKell getting married.
The newlyweds with a group of the nieces and nephews.
They look so cute all dressed up!
These girls sure felt like princess in their dresses!
I LOVE this picture!
Silly girls!
Spinning in a dress is a must!
These guys play basketball every chance they get, even if they have have to do it in church clothes and bow ties!
Myer and Gavin were so handsome and loved climbing these stairs at the reception together.
Look what Taylor caught...
Funny that he ended up with it over all the other single guys there!!
After the wedding events were over we spent some time with family and friends back at our cabins.
The kids were having a blast with the paddle boats (Aige, Kenzie, Evelyn, and Addalie).
Daniel and Erin even were able to sneak away and spent a fair bit of time with us and that was a real treat too!  Here is Daniel with Payton, Gavin in the middle, and Brielle and Taylor in the back.
Payton, Taylor, and Aaron, the kids were seriously having so much fun with these things!
Gavin was a trooper during this busy trip with hardly any time for naps.
Emry, Brielle, and Gavin had fun exploring.
Gavin and Myer are becoming quite good little buddies...Adorable!

Idaho Falls Temple Open House

Since we were already going to be near Idaho Falls for Oli and McKell's wedding, we took the kids out of school early and went to the Temple open house.  It was a neat experience to do as a family.  The Temple was beautiful inside and the kids had a good time being inside the House of the Lord.
Our group that was able to go together.
It was pretty chilly outside.
Payton was having fun taking care of Daylin.
I loved having my whole family there.  From the kids wearing the cute little booties to watching their faces in the different rooms.
This is my whole world!
It was nice to be reminded of my blessings and having an eternal family is at the top of that list.

Cub Scout Cake Auction

In order to raise a little money for the Cub Scout Day Camp we had a cake auction.  It turned out so well and we had great supporters!
I made a Lemon Bundt Cake and before I could even sit down after handing it to the auctioneer, Taylor was already bidding on this cake.  I had to chuckle!  We did end up buying our own but traded for something more transportable for the drive to Rexburg the next day (for the Idaho Falls Temple open house and Oli and McKell's wedding weekend).  I'll have to make it for Taylor to try another day!
As you can see we had another big bidder!  While sitting on Grandpa's lap, Gavin was helping to make the bidding go up with and sometimes even without Grandpa's permission!  It was too cute and you can see Brielle giggling right next to Gavin.

Sunday Drive to Gibson Dam

We have been looking forward to getting outdoors again.  One Sunday afternoon we headed to Gibson Dam for a nice drive and to enjoy nature.
Payton, Brielle, Taylor, and Charlotte
It was a bit colder up there than we expected.  Gavin loved throwing rocks into the water.
Kamree and Kenzie

While we were up there we noticed a couple of ticks.  When we got home we checked the kids over really well.  I did spot one in Kenzie's hair and tried hard not to freak her out.  Then it was off to check myself over.  I found one on the inside of my shirt and was officially freaked out!  Then Mckay checked over my hair and there was one near my head.  SO GROSS!  I was worried the rest of the night and was hoping that we had caught them all!  I could sure do without the ticks but had a fun time in the mountains!

Easter Break

A break from scheduling and school is always welcomed.  We have been counting down days until Easter Break (also until the end of tax season).  Here are some of the fun things we did during our break:
Oli and McKell were up visiting so we spent an afternoon hanging out with them.  The kids had a great time hitting some golf balls around!
Gavin was happy with a horseshoe find.
Brielle was content searching for hidden golf balls and digging some out of the ground that were nearly covered in dirt.
Then we all had fun coloring Easter Eggs!
5 sets of helping hands!
Brielle loves coloring Easter Eggs!
Gavin thought it was awesome and was also having a good time.
Cool color Taylor!
McKenzie likes using her imagination as she was thinking of creative things to do to each egg.
Ha Ha, Gavin's mouth is gaped open as he concentrates!
Payton ended up with some cool creations as well.
At one point Gavin ended up painting some of his thumb blue...he totally liked it!
It was a fun afternoon spend with family making memories!
Another morning Gavin and Brielle were enjoying coloring together while I was busy doing a few other things.  Maybe you know where this is going????
Sure enough, they "accidentally" ended up coloring themselves a bit!
We also made a yummy Easter Nest treat together and calzones for lunch!
When Mckay was out of work Friday evening, we headed to the circus since the kids were all given tickets at school.  It was a fun evening and the kids loved it!
Time for the community egg hunt!
Gavin was starting to get the hang of this egg/candy thing although he went at his own leisurely pace!
Of coarse it is always a bit chilly!
Kenzie was good to help Gavin along the way.
Gavin even ended up with a cute blue stuffed bunny.
Brielle was fast and got a great loot!
Kenzie stayed with Brielle since she is not of age to hunt anymore. (Brielle found a stuffed bunny as well.)
Taylor is fast and furious!
He was on a mission!
He also ended up with a good basket full (it seems like for the most part all of the kids end up with their fair share).
Love this face and his ever constant BSU attire!
The kids enjoyed an egg hunt at our home once Mckay was finished with work.  Then we put them on a treasure hunt for a few joint gifts as a team!
Gavin's clue was in the "Guck".  He loves riding in Mckay's truck aka guck!
Yay for Peeps!
Brielle found her clue!
Taylor found the game of Pairs!
McKenzie found a case to something!?
Then Payton had the hardest clue but found an Amazon Fire for the kids to share.
They were excited!
Now for a few pictures as a family in our Sunday best for Easter...
Not always an easy task!
The kids did not have school that Monday so we headed to Great Falls for some fun!
The kids had fun looking for mood rings at Amazing Toys!
We went to Yogurt City, the kids thought it was sure yummy!
Gavin ended up eating too fast and caused himself an ice cream headache.
The kids wanted to hit a park!
How fun!
All smiles!
Gavin loves all things outdoors!
We are grateful that things are starting to warm up and spring is here!
Cute kids!
Making memories!
Finally, we headed to Giant Springs to feed the fish and go on a little walk/explore!
I love my time with these precious people.  This gets me so excited for summer and spending our days together.  It was an enjoyable break!
