Family Time

These guys are seriously our best friends!

They love spreading a blanket and enjoying some snacks while watching movies!  Popcorn is usually a must but this evening it was chips, salsa, veggies with ranch, and smoothies!

One Sunday evening Mckay made a dump cake for dessert with the help of the girls and Gavin.

I adore that Mckay enjoys spending time in the kitchen too, how lucky am I!?

Women's Broadcast

Now that McKenzie is 8 years old she gets to join me at the Women's General Meeting!  I have been looking forward to sharing this time with her.

We went out to DJ's for a quick bite to eat with some friends before heading over to the church.  This little lady ordered herself a salad, funny girl!

It was precious watching her try to take notes during the meeting (maybe coping a few things I was writing as well).

Payton's First Football Game & Homecoming Parade

Payton has been thrilled for 4th grade, part of that has to do with being a part of FOOTBALL!

Payton even scored a touchdown during his first game, he was super excited!

How fitting that his nickname is BRONCO!

Twin Day

Every so often the school has different theme days for dressing up and the kids think it is pretty fun. 

I thought it was adorable when the boys decided to dress alike for twin day!

Fun At Home

Our normal day to day activities are pretty simple, just the way we like it!

Since moving to Montana I have become more of a home body.  I honestly don't mind just staying home and hanging out with my family.  Of coarse there are still moments when a change of pace is good for the sole!

Gavin is getting stronger and trying to improving his crawling skills.

That may or may not be a chocolate chip motivating him!

Ha, the face of success!  Love that fizzy hair he gets!

Brielle is a great helper and buddy with Gavin.  I am really enjoying this year soaking up our time before this sweetie pie goes to kindergarten next year...sigh.

More Preschool

So far Brielle loves going to Preschool, it has been so good for her!

Gavin is Now 11 Months Old

By the time I remembered Gavin was 11 months old and I needed to snap a picture of him at this age, he was super tired and not in the mood for a photo!

He was more interested in getting to bed by this point.

He is sure a joy in our lives.  He also seems to be getting blonder.

I couldn't ask for a better baby, he is usually in such a great mood and has been an easy baby!

Brielle's First Day of Preschool

Brielle will be in a preschool co-op with some friends, being taught by us mothers.  This time around we decided to keep it literacy based and choose a book each week to base our lessons, snacks, and crafts/activities on.  Sounds so fun if you ask me!

She was super excited to be going to Preschool.

And then there is the pleasure to join up with Daddy each Thursday when we head into Choteau for preschool (the other days of the week, I plan on working with Brielle with other skills.)

We are going to try to soak up all the time we have together while the older kids are at school this year, for I know all too well how fast this time with my little girl will fly by.

And So It Begins: Payton's Football

For Payton, one of the reasons he is thrilled to be in 4th grade, is the perk of being able to play football!!

Kittens at Grandma's

Sarah recently got a couple of kittens and the kids were pretty excited to meet them.

Gavin was sure interested in them as well.

And then there was Brielle...she was in LOVE!

I am sure McKenzie will want to rush over to grandma's once school is out!

A Weekend at the Cabin

We decided it was time to make it back up to the cabin!  We met up there with other members of the family and had a great time.

Sarah brought some things to paint rocks with the kids.  They had a blast and it brought out their creative sides.

Even the boys had a great time.

Some took this a little more serious and as usual, the girls ended up taking the most time perfecting their rocks.
