It was another great Halloween! This year it was extra fun to celebrate as a family and my mom/Grandma Tammy was still in town helping with the baby, so we enjoyed having her here with us.
The younger kids walked down to the assisted living center here in Fairfield, and we met up with them there to hear them sing a few Halloween songs for the elderly, all dressed up in their costumes.

Taylor was a great singer and dancer as well. He sure makes for a cute Knight/Centurion.
Then it was back to the school for a fun party in the gym, complete with a spook house put on my the Junior High. Brielle aka Brave, sure loves joining in on the fun!
And Gavin our little Jack-O-Lantern was sleeping away in his car seat most of the time.

Taylor sure has a fun personality. He cracks us up. People in our church/community are always coming up to us and telling us stories of the things Taylor says or does. Most of the young men in our ward also know that they can usually ask Taylor any recent Bronco (Yes BSU and Denver) scores and he will usually rattle off the latest. I think his little brain is always on the go! The other day he said in frustration, "URGGG People are always calling me CUTE". I don't know what to tell you buddy!
Brielle is always so eager to come along and was super excited to head to the school to see the kids on Halloween.

The kids are sure doing well in school and loving it!
Then it was back home after school, where Mckay had planned a few fun Halloween crafts to do with the kids. We decorated old milk jugs to line our sidewalk with.
The kids are drawing faces on their own jugs then we filled them with water and a glow stick. They had a lot of fun and even Brielle was really getting into the crafting too (which is no surprise, she absolutely loves to color and craft of any sort).

5 Happy Kids!
They are what make the holidays so priceless!
Payton is such a huge helper and adores little Gavin.
The kids really got into going door to door. I had to chuckle when after each house we hit up, Brielle would repeatedly ask, "Can we go to another?" She kept asking this over and over as if she thought we were done and ready to head home soon.
Look at her delighted little face! Love it!!

I should have taken a picture of us all crowded on the golf cart. Once Grandpa Swensen located us on the golf cart, we all jumped on and zipped around from house to house much quicker and in STYLE! Grandma Swensen was at our new home waiting for Trick-Or-Treaters and watching Gavin for us. We had Clam Chowder, Salad, and Rolls together before heading out. Any guesses on what is for dessert?!
Back home again after everyone had enough loot and were all tired out. Now snuggle time with Grandma Tammy.
It will be hard to say goodbye to my mom tomorrow. She will be flying back home in the afternoon. We have sure enjoyed having her in our neck of the woods. She has been so fun not to mention very helpful.
Goodbyes are always hard, but thankfully she (and most of the rest of my family except Brian and Whitney's family since she is due any day) will be back for Thanksgiving at our house as well as Gavin's blessing.
