This post contains a bunch of random happenings throughout the summer. Aren't summers the best!? Days spent building family relationships and cherishing time together!
Cute picture of Grandma and Grandpa while hanging out.
Payton and Kade having a good time together.
Brielle, Maggie, and Kenzie picking flowers.
Gavin eating dessert!
Cute boy!
Here are several more pics when the cousins were in Montana.
Cute girls!
The kids had a great time in the forts this year!
It was where they spent most of their free time together.
Flying the drone.
Love her freckles!
Handsome boys!
Sweet girls!
Grandma and Gavin chilling!
Maggie's Birthday!
Ridge and Brielle with the kitten.
Gavin has enjoyed the outdoors this summer.
The kids have been liking to take turns helping in the kitchen. Kenzie got a cookie press for her birthday and was excited to make some chocolate cookie dough and try it out. They turned out awesome!
Brielle warming up near our pool.
It has made for some of the best afternoons as siblings!
Brielle and Gavin are great at playing together. They come up with some interesting things to play but sure looks like fun to be a kid.
Payton always enjoys thrift shopping.
It is all fun and giggles when Dad decides to join them on a hot summer evening!
These two were hanging out at the cabin.
Cute buddies!
We went to an event in Phillipsburg and the kids got to have their own balloon creations.
We enjoyed fun times cooling off at the lake.
We even made it to the nearby falls a couple of times.
Payton and Taylor hiking up higher.
Brielle and Gavin once again!
Not sure why he was sad in this picture, it may have been when we ran out of edamame. The kids love to have that as a snack and never seem to get their fill.
Sunday afternoons, Gavin sometimes just can't take it any longer and falls asleep on us. I love moments like these!
We had many lunches at the parks in Choteau (Brielle climbing in the tree).
What is summer without OtterPops!?
Love this crew!
Setting up the pool and Gavin squirting us with a hose.

What a life!
This summer Gavin has made a few big changes...one of those is sleeping in a big bed (the crib is down after all these years).
While I was on a girls' weekend the kids took it upon themselves to make a cheese ball. This makes me smile because I made one with them last winter and now it is a big favorite of their own that now they tend to even make them by themselves. My kids enjoy good food!
This is another favorite memory! Gavin has a perfect seat right behind Brielle on a trike that we have had since Payton was little.
Pure cuteness!
This summer Brielle learned to tie shoes just in time to purchase shoes to tie for school!
One afternoon the kids and I went to Great Falls to mow the lawn at the office and run errands. Then Dick wanted us to meet up with him and Grandpa Swensen at the Pizza Hut lunch buffet. The kids were thrilled with this invite!
Brielle being silly!
I have a few with these two like this!
Gavin and Brielle were enjoying some painting together.
Taylor weeded a huge section for me in return for a few dollars so he could buy his OWN ice cream. It took him a while to eat all of it and he did share as well!
Messy faced Gavin.
One morning the kids went to work deep cleaning the house so we could do something fun.
Brielle loves cleaning the mirrors, she is a great helper.
Taylor and Gavin are pros at running the vacuum.
McKenzie made my kitchen floor sparkle.
Payton helped with a bathroom. It sure made for a fast clean up!
Brielle and Taylor helping me make Oreo Bon Bons.
They are another favorite when we have them on a rare occasion.
This is why I love summers!
Check it out!! Gavin is in underwear!
He decided all on his own that it was time to be done with diapers (he hates them). It was the easiest potty training experience thus far. I told him some of his friends don't wear diapers and that made him want to be big too. He was so easy and it has been so great!
One evening I found this on the boys' floor (funny kids).
We hit a park with pizza for lunch before school started.
Enjoying some rock climbing.
I'm going to miss them when they return to school.
Gavin loves going to parks and playing.
Then we went to Yogurt City to share some frozen yogurt. If you guess the weight of your bowl you get it for free. Payton ended up guessing it right on the mark and we got one for free. It was a SWEET deal!
Delicious!
We have had a very active and fun summer!
