Beyond Grateful to Kick Off Our Summer

Thankfully we wrapped up a crazy ending to this school year!  We are so excited it is summer and we plan to pack it with tons of fun family memories!

Ready for a break from school!  We made it through a long while of learning at home and these kids did a fantastic job!

Off to Bozeman to spend the weekend with cousins and family.

While there we played hard.  One fun activity the kids loved was floating in this stream that was in a nearby park.  This stream had a tunnel that went under the ground and popped you out on the other side.  Kids of all ages were having a blast!  Gavin and Myer were all smiles.

Payton, taking the little boys for a ride.
Emry and Brielle look so cute!
Kenzie and Brielle are about to go through the tunnel.
Even the big boys, Payton and Kason, were loving it!
Asher and Taylor cooling off in the water.
Funny kids!
The girls.
Now the little boys are getting the hang of it.
It was the perfect afternoon, cooling off and being kids.
Every backyard needs one of these!
This was a great picture!
So cute!
While we were there we also had the kids try out a fun bike park so they could get the hang of things.
Go Taylor!
Even for big kids!
Beautiful Brielle!
Kenzie was getting the hang of it.
Payton chilling.
These two were having so much fun.
While the kids were hanging out at the house, the adults went to Copper City early one morning for some harder riding.
This was a fun evening fishing up at the cabin from the weekend before.
And a bit of previous riding at the bike park near the cabin.
It is fun getting the hang of this biking thing.
While were were up at the cabin, the Roos family came too and we had fun on 4-wheelers.
Max, Brielle, and Emry...hold on tight guys!
Part of kicking off our summer was helping Chad and Misti tape and paint their new home.  They are getting close!
We did a little shopping at the mall and the little kids wanted to try out this ride.
I'd say we are already getting off to a good start!

Payton's 8th Grade Graduation (Covid Style)

In true style, this small town is trying to keep things as normal as possible for our kids during the current pandemic.  Payton just graduated from 8th grade and will be moving on up to High School in the fall.  I try not to think about it too much because if I've said it more than once.... I am trying to hold on to this phase as long as I can.  They are all growing up so fast.

One family decided to host the 8th grade dance/party.  The mom's crashed it for a little fun!  I'm excited to see what the future holds for Payton!
Playing a little Corn Hole.
Payton had hurt his wrist while biking this weekend if I remember correctly.
This class didn't get much of a graduation but they had fun getting together to hang out, dance, play games, and get to know their soon to be new classmates for High School.  It was fun for them to get together again after all this time isolating!

A Much Needed Weekend at the Cabin!

Well this school year, unlike any other we've ever experienced...finally came to a close.  We were ready to get out and have some fun as a family.
Mckay was sure eager to put his new bike to the test!
We went to a downhill bike park near the cabin and had such a fun day playing around with our new bikes on some new trails.
It was a fun day and we got to visit and felt like kids again.
Behind us in the other lifts are Kason and Payton, then Lindsey and Issac.
Payton had a lot of fun and is getting pretty good at biking.
Good times!
We had a lot of fun doing this as a group.
Here is a fun photo of a log feature.
I love this adorable picture of Brielle and Emry fishing in a canoe with Grandpa.  Perfect start to our SUMMER BREAK!!
