Adopt a Grandma for Young Women's

Our Young Women participated in a little adopt a Grandma with a few special ladies in our ward.  They were assigned in groups and tried to do random sweet things for their grandmothers.  It was neat to see some of the things they did in secret.
I had a good hard laugh at Kenzie as she tiptoed from the car to the house and back!
Trying not to get caught.

Easter Break 2019

This year Easter was after Tax Season ended, I wish that was the case every year.  We took full advantage of our Easter Break and headed to the cabin with family.
Tried out some new hairstyles with the girls while we had some extra time.
They were cute!
These boys were being funny as we were getting ready to die Easter Eggs.
Traditions are so much fun!
These kids were pretty excited to decorate their eggs.
Well done Gavin!
Making memories!
My girls and me.
It was fun to see what creations they came up with.
Kenzie sure had fun doing this.
Eggs for days!
I love that these big kids still wanted to participate.
Totally Brielle's thing!
Gavin was in need of a snack.
This was our first time heading to the cabin for Easter, that I can recall.  We headed to the community Easter Egg Hunt in Phillipsburg for the kids...it did not disappoint!
Ready for the different age groups to begin.
Cute girls were ready to go hunting.
Even these big hunters were eager to get going.
Payton helped keep an eye on Gavin while Mckay and I were going back and forth checking on the rest of the kids.  It was raining a bit but that didn't stop the fun, if anything it helped to slim down the crowd.
Run Kenzie!
Taylor and Asher having a good time!
Go Brielle!
The kids had so much fun at this hunt.
Searching for eggs.
Hunting everywhere.
Nice job Emry and Brielle!
They had a great time!  Inside some of the eggs were tiny pieces of paper you could then take to the front and collect any of your special winnings.  It was so fun for the kids!
Brielle was lucky and got some chocolate carrots, they were adorable!
Everyone loves the hot chocolate maker at the cabin.
Sharing a cocoa together (Gavin and Brooklyn).
Adorable!
Gavin was all smiles when he got to look in his Easter basket.
Fun times digging in their baskets.
Taylor enjoying a few snacks.
We love holiday traditions.
A new monster truck for Gavin.
A bit of a forced smile.
My girls checking out their baskets.
I was a great weekend with family and time to relax!
Then the grandparents planned an Easter Egg activity.  Each egg had different amounts of money in them and the kids chose random eggs and got to keep what they earned inside...so fun!
All ages of grand-kids were eager to see what they got.
One of the things our kids look forward to is cousin sleepovers.  It makes for giggles and late nights all around, but they sure love it.
An Easter Sunday picture as a family.
I love US!
Back at home we relaxed and had a little time as a family before going back to school after the break, we hid the money eggs and this year Taylor, Gavin, and Brielle found our money eggs.
This pictures melts my heart.  After another long tax season the kids are due up for some daddy time!  He was reading a book and before long, all of the kids were interested and giggling over the funny add ins from Mckay.
It was so sweet!
Since the kids still had part of their spring break we had a day in town together.  One of our errands was to exchange a gold ring for some cash to go to Disneyland soon.  Brielle found this ring in a river nearby and wanted to trade it in for to money to spend when we go to Disneyland.  She earned just about $50 for this find!!
One lucky girl!
Since the weather was nice we hit up a park for more fun!
I love these faces!
Gavin had a good time getting in these tires and hiding.
While other kids like to get on the top and jump from tire to tire.
They are all growing up much too fast, but I'm glad they still love spending time together.
We made the most of Easter Break!
