Thanksgiving 2018 in Oregon

Before Thanksgiving break, Mckay and I headed to Idaho Falls with Chad and Misti.  We went to a Marriage Conference, did a little early Christmas shopping, went to a craft show, caught up with Oli and McKell, met baby Ez for the first time, and had a great get-away together and with friends.  It was so fun!
Ezra is sure a cutie pie.
This year we headed to my parents' to enjoy Thanksgiving with family.  We pulled the kids out of school to get a longer break together.
My parents surprised Mckay with an early Christmas present and a treat for doing their taxes.  He was thrilled and a new gun was quite the surprise!  My dad is so funny with surprises...he has the hardest time holding them in and just couldn't wait to give this to Mckay.  It was such a sweet gift from my parents.
That look says it all!  Later the boys were shooting that week and they were putting pressure on Mckay to hit the first target on his new gun.  He held up to the pressure and nailed it!

Cute boy!

Kaden, Payton, and Gavin playing some games on the Wii.
Brielle and Kaitlyn totally girls having all sorts of fun.
Ashlee and Kenzie watching chick flicks together...how fun!
My sisters and mother baking together.  These beautiful women are dear friends of mine.
Fun times and great memories!
Mckay was a lifesaver as he helped to make a couple of yummy instant pot dinners while us women were busy getting ready for the upcoming Thanksgiving Feast.  It was wonderful knowing we didn't have to make dinner in addition to all of the other baking and cooking.
Brielle loves to cook with me!  She is one of my little buddies.
Aunt Michelle playing a game of cards with the little boys.  (Max, Tucker, Gavin, Braxton, and Michelle)

Now for the adults and the older kids.
I sure love family!
I'm so thankful for this guy!
My Grandpa Bryson and Uncle Tim (we went there to play games/snack after the feast).
Payton is pretty good at shooting clay pigeons.
Fun times!
Gavin lucked out with ear phones to drown out the blasts.
While we were there some of the guys took off and went to the BSU vs. Utah State football game.  They were thrilled to get tickets and had a blast.
The moms and remaining kids went to the movies, out to dinner, shopped at Erin's, and hit up the Christmas light show for a bit.
Making memories!
This cool park had big musical instruments.
They also had an ice skating rink...the kids were dying to try (next time).
This light show always gets me excited for Christmas!
Fun with Grandma and cousins.
While we were there we also went to the new Meridian Temple as a family and the youth that were old enough.  It was a neat experience and we will treasure moments like these.
The Meridian Temple sure is stunning.
Taylor, Kaden, and Payton ready for some pre-game festivities.
Going to a BSU Game is always a special treat for the guys.

We always fit a lot of fun activities in during the visits home.  It makes for lots of fun but it goes by too quickly.
