A Winter Get-Away at the Cabin

Off to the cabin we go to play before tax season picks up.

Mckay is such a big kid and had fun sledding with the family. 

The kids were soaking in all the fun in the snow.

Makes for some fun memories.

It is such a blessing to have the cabin to sneak off to occasionally.

Just what we needed.

Jr High Ski trip

Every year the JR High kids go on a SKI Field trip. Mckay grew up skiing quite a lot but our kids haven’t had a lot of experience with this sport. This year Mckay joined McKenzie and Payton and they all had a fun time together.

Payton Starts Driver's ED

At the age of 14 we have a driver in training. I’ve always told Mckay that I would potty train all of the kids if he would be the one to teach them how to drive eventually (we’ve teamed up through these tasks and I wouldn’t have it any other way). It seems like that wasn’t long ago yet here we are...

Payton is well on his way to growing up and moments like this make me realize our time with the kids at home is limited. I’m enjoying each phase we are in as a family and cherish the moments we share together.

Christmas Break 2019 and Ringing in the New Year

I try to soak up all the time I can with the kids when they get nice breaks from school.  It is always a real treat to have them all at home having fun and catching up as a family.

As a family we went out to eat breakfast at Golden Corral.  (I'm behind the camera.)

Then we headed to the Movies to watch the new Star Wars movie.  Everyone was so excited even our little Baby Yoda!

We love watching movies together.

These boys couldn't wait to see this movie as well.

During the break, our church rented out the skating place in Great Falls. We took the kids along to have some fun and they sure loved it.

Brielle was a natural, here she is doing some limbo.

It was totally her thing!

Taylor was doing good too.

It was a fun evening as a group.

For New Year’s we headed to Bozeman for some fun family together. We love this area and all off of the seasonal fun it offers!

We had fun in the snow and trying out some of their cross country ski trails.

This was a blast and fun to watch.

The kids enjoyed skiing and sledding was a hit as well.

Payton and Kason are both getting pretty tall.

Gavin and Myer are such good little buddies, they sure get along well and love each other.

We stayed up late to ring in the NEW YEAR together, it helped having yummy food and chocolate fondue to keep us going!!

Enjoying some time with cousins is always a treat for the kids.

Our crew out skiing. We are starting to pick it up and had a lot of fun exploring more of beautiful Bozeman.  Isaac and Lindsey make wonderful hosts and we always enjoy our visits.

We started exploring some options on a new sectional for our family. Getting the kids involved sure made the process fun as they could envision our entire family snuggling on the same couch during movie parties. Gavin was excited about this one, we shall see what deal we end up with.  The start of 2020 is looking pretty good, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
