Mckay and I booked another after Tax Season trip to Mexico. It is a fun way to have something to look forward to and to help pass the time! Mckay is a big reason we book these trips, he loves to travel and I am glad to be able to do these things with my best friend. Before leaving on the trip we always get a little sentimental and feel bad about leaving the kids (this time was kind of hectic for me because I had already said goodbye to the kids while I was gone to Time Out for Women and both of these trips were back to back so that was a bit hard on my mama heart). Once we got on our way we got busy and had a great time together! Here is a mash up and pictures of some of the things we did (in no particular order).
We went on another LDS tour with Lemuel and he showed us a few neat things about Tulum and other ruins.

Mckay is definitely more adventurous than I am, but I have gotten better since being married to this man!

The beach, we ended up taking a boat out to the reef here and snorkeling. We saw sting rays and a lot of different fish. It was a lot of fun.

One of my favorite things we did together on this trip was going to Selvetica to zip-line. It was such a fun adventure to do together! We couldn't take our phones along because we were in and out of water but it will be a memory I will cherish!

Funny story: when we first checked into our room we went out on our balcony to see our view. Mckay shut the sliding door behind him in order to keep our room cool. Low and behold our sliding door had no handles from the outside. Before we knew it we were locked out of our room with no way to get in and since we were also on the 3rd floor there was no way to get down either. We were glad Mckay had his cell phone and was able to call the front desk for some help. It made for a good laugh!

The first full day we were there we went back to the area we had visited on our first trip to Mexico. We had to walk quite a bit to get there and then we took a taxi to Yal Ku to snorkel. It was nice and refreshing and we were able to cool off and enjoy the views! This was on our bucket list and it was fun to finally see it!

We had a great time on our trip and look forward to more opportunities to do it again, in fact Mckay thinks he already has our next destination picked out! Makes me laugh!!
Let me tell you though, we were thrilled to be coming home to these 5 precious people! The kids were also excited to see us again and then we gave them a few things we had purchased for them in Mexico. It was great to reunite as a family!
