The kids had a great Easter this year. It is great how as they get older their understanding of the real meaning of these holidays become more and more important to them. I hope as a parent to keep that the focus...but there is still some fun to be had in the process! The Easter Bunny came to our backyard on Saturday after Mckay returned from work (Tax Season). The kids were looking outside all morning to see if he had arrived, but they agreed that it was perfect timing when Mckay did FINALLY return! Kids can be so impatient.
Brielle had just woken up from a nap and was in Heaven with all the surprises throughout our back yard.
Taylor was very happy to see that the Easter Bunny had left him some Hot Wheels in his basket.
McKenzie was thrilled to finally get some GIRLY Lego's!
Payton couldn't have been happier with his new Nerf Football!
And Brielle was just loving taking it all in.

Thankfully the boys were much more eager to snap a nice shot. Aren't they cute!?
After church we decided it was time to decorate Easter Eggs with the kids. It was a fun activity for them, they had such a good time being creative!
Brielle thought this was pretty neat.

Now this is something she could get used to.
Some of these pictures won't turn (oh well). I love that my family can enjoy some of the same things that I loved and looked forward to as a child. What a great family we have!
Happy Easter!
