Sleepy Head
I just think it is so cute when kids are just so tired that they happen to fall asleep. This is how Taylor was found one afternoon while Sarah and I were watching design shows. He seemed to be really interested in watching it with us. That is, until his body could no longer take it and he dozed off! Precious BOY!

Paint job
Brielle got a little carried away with grandma's dot markers just as Mckay and I were about to head out on a double date with some friends! It was to cute not to take a quick picture!
She was a little stressed when she realized we were about to leave.
Although before long, she was having a blast with her siblings and grandparents!

She tends to resemble the Joker in this picture!
Aww, I love my kiddos!

Sunday Afternoon visit to a Waterfall
Mckay and I both had to speak in church on Sunday, needless to say, it had been a busy weekend . After church we ate lunch and drove to a nearby waterfall to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
Brielle and Mckay
So cute!
McKenzie and Payton, who is way up high, exploring.
Taylor and Brielle loved the outdoors as well.
Having a good time!
My sweetheart and me.
Stacie, who was visiting this weekend and Levi.
I love this picture of Brielle and Payton. Even though there is a bit of an age gap between these two, they sure have a special bond!
The kids were so funny and every one of them couldn't get enough of the outdoors. When it was time to head back home they all didn't want to leave! I think hiking is going to be a new family favorite past time. It makes it nice that more of the kids are big enough to walk now and not be carried! I love my little family!

Fairfield's Homecoming
Friday was Fairfield's Homecoming Parade. It was fun for the kids to participate in Spirit Week. The kids dressed up throughout the week and then enjoyed a little parade in the afternoon. We are enjoying being a part of a fun little community and getting to know other people/friends.
The kids really liked the school mascot.
Mckay, McKenzie, Payton, Brielle, and Taylor (poor Payton was reaching for a piece of candy and ended up getting stung by a bee, he was a good little trooper though). It was fun having Mckay come along with us!
GO EAGLES!!

First Day of Preschool for Taylor
Today was Taylor's 1st day of Preschool! He woke up in such a good mood and was all SMILES all morning as he awaited the time to go to his preschool.
What a handsome boy!
Seriously, he looked like this all morning!
Due to most of our stuff being in boxes in Kuna...he'll have to borrow Dad's backpack for a while!
Here are his Preschool Friends: Madysen, Sarah, Taylor, and Cal.
Taylor is excited to get to know new friends here! I think it will be a fun little co-op with a few friends in the ward!
This is how he felt about the first day! He was so happy to show me his alligator he made from the letter A, as well drawing the letter A and number 1 for me. Sweet little Brielle was happy to have her buddy back home!

Accidents Happen
The evening of September 11th we were hanging out outside, passing a little time before going back to the church to pick Payton up from Boy Scouts (which he loves and has been looking forward to). Mckay was in the shop working on a project, Taylor was off playing, and I was about to tell Kenzie and Brielle, who were playing on the golf cart, that I would be right back after getting Payton. Just as I was about to leave...McKenzie sat down on the floor of the golf cart and it took off. She had sat on the gas peddle!! I guess the key had been turned on so it was ready to drive. They didn't go far before McKenzie released the peddle and it came to a stop again (maybe like 10, surprising feet). Both girls were screaming by this point. Brielle had fallen off and ended up hitting the fence giving her a little sore eye. At first I thought she got the worst of it because her eye began swelling and had a small sore on it immediately. McKenzie had scrapped her cheek on the steering wheel and gave it a good burn. At first it looked a little sore but as time went on it just kept looking worse. She was so worried that the kids at school were going to make fun of her. I told her that they would probably ask her what happened and that they would probably feel bad for her. It took a little persuasion to convince her that she didn't look that bad. (But it was sure going to leave a mark.)
This is what it started out looking like, her dad had just told her that it looked pretty bad. Sweet little Kenzie!
Waiting for the bus the next morning. By now she was feeling a little better about the situation. Although her poor cheek looked pretty sore.
Later it got even darker and ended up being a big scabbed burn mark. It is starting to look much better each day and is healing quickly!
Brielle's eye was a little swollen and bruised but didn't look too bad. It could have been much worse!
Little cutie pie!
Nothing that a good sniff from her blanket wouldn't fix!
It was an eventful night! Although I feel bad for the girls, I am thankful something more serious didn't happen. My heart went out to Kenzie because not only did she have a pretty sad looking face, she also was so worried that everyone would think she was such a bad girl. I explained that it was a total accident and she didn't mean to drive the golf cart, much less even know that the golf cart was on and ready to drive.
It was just a little golf cart miss hap and accidents happen.

Hanging Out
Things have been going well. We have been sticking close to home (Grandpa and Grandma Swensen's for now). We don't mind the slower pace and hanging out more at home. While Payton and Kenzie are off at school, Taylor, Brielle, and I usually spend out time playing together at the house or running errands, or park play dates and visiting with friends.
Brielle in her PJ's.
Playing a silly game with mom.
What a little character!
Taylor is full of crazy faces.
He keeps me on my toes...
but I love him to pieces!
Another classic Taylor face!
Payton and Taylor waking up one morning. Taylor and Brielle sure miss their older siblings while they are off at school.

Mckay Turns 33!
Mckay's Birthday fell on a Sunday this year. We had fun spending a nice relaxing day with him since he didn't have to go to work! Birthdays are always a hit with the kids and they can't wait for the usual presents, cake, and ice cream! Despite the recent move to Montana, Mckay is still a HUGE BSU FAN! His birthday is always the perfect time to get him some new Boise State gear to kick off another season of college football! So that seems to be the theme of all his Birthdays and he doesn't mind one bit (although he recently go a new phone, and another new shirt in addition to the BSU gear).
The Birthday BOY!
Getting ready to help Dad blow out the candles!
Yummy Butterfingers Poke Cake (Mckay always requests this one for his Birthday).
Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
I love celebrating your big day with you and the kids!
I am so glad to have you by my side throughout this journey of life!

Choteau Rodeo Candy Bar Run
Labor Day weekend we headed to a Rodeo in Choteau. The kids had a good time seeing all the animals and hanging out. They especially liked the Candy Bar Run! We were not expecting this, but during one of the intermissions they called all the kids to line up for a candy bar race. They spread out a lot of different treats for the kids to race to and find. It was sure funny to see that the kids were on the front page of the Choteau Acantha Newspaper! Taylor loves looking at this picture of himself and how fast he was!
